One of the best restaurants, if not the best we visited during a 4 week stay in the U.K. Perfectly cooked protein, fresh vegetables, and a great atmosphere. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough!

Great place, friendly staff, excellent food selection. Highly recommending!

We’re at the nearby Hyatt and didn’t want a long walk so chose for location. Boy did we win! Both loved it, excellent service, all dishes great. So very happy.

Surprisingly delicious meal! My husband loved the fish and chips, I got the chicken and it was sooo good! We were blown away by the sticky toffee pudding for dessert.
Demi Bush
Great food! Bar service was average, drinks were ok but not top notch mixology. The surf and turf steak was very good.

Great find on a back street in the West End of London. Away from the hustle and bustle of Fleet/Strand but still close enough to walk from the hotel. Small and quaint restaurant, robust and flavorful food. Recommend the pesto, lobster fritters!!!!

We were their first brunch customers one Saturday morning. The food was wonderful, as were the lattes, and it was a short walk to St Paul’s and the Millennium Bridge. A great find nestled in a little street.

Very nice

Es war während eines 14 tägigen Urlaubes das beste Essen, welches in einem Restaurant serviert worden war.
Auch in Deutschland findet man selten eine so gute Qualität.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this charming restaurant and pub that quickly became one of my favorite spots in town. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with dim lighting and rustic decor that gave the place a warm and inviting vibe.

Found this little gem for lunch. We were immediately welcomed and shown to a table. The service was excellent. The food was lovely. We will return.

Beautiful food, nice atmosphere, very friendly and accommodating staff. We came across this hidden gem as we were staying that side of london and looking for somewhere to go for dinner and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend.

Such a lovely find, off the beaten track. Delicious food, great staff, reasonably priced for the quality.

Lovely square to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. Delicious food and great service.

A quiet find on the “back-streets” a short walk South from St Paul’s Cathedral.
On a lovely warm May evening we met under the trees (surprising, given the area) of their casual garden to enjoy surprisingly spicy Negronis.
Then headed into the main restaurant for our 8:15 reservation.
The welcome was inviting and the atmosphere, with our window seat, was nice (good for conversation)

Nice restaurant near Blackfriars station. Recommended to us.

Anwar and the exceptional team at the Glean truly exceeded our expectations, leaving us with an unforgettable experience. We recently had the privilege of hosting a private dinner party for the finalists of the National Student Negotiation Competition for England and Wales 2024 at the Glean Restaurant and Bar.

The Glean Restaurant is pretty close to the Air BnB we stayed in so we gave it a shot and it was really good. The staff was very friendly and the food is delicious. I strongly recommend the Glean Burger with cheese but the brownie is even better. My wife had a steak that looked a little bit lost on the plate but also was very delicious! If you are looking for a nice little restaurant with a great atmosphere then this is the place to go – trust me.

Brilliant find – excellent food and service, great value for money.

I live in London and needed an early dinner mid week on my own. It was excellent. Chicken teriyaki. The service was superb and the atmosphere just right. Spoke to a lovely lady who worked there. Just so disappointed that I had no space for dessert.

Great food and even better service!

Amazing food, absolutely wonderful service complete with stories about the building from the owner. It’s tucked away but bright, clean and modern. The owner had me sampling all the wine to see what I liked and made some wonderful suggestions. We stumbled on this amazing gem looking for someplace else and we are so glad we did.

Absolutely stunning, we came here for a meal and we were pleasantly surprised! Under the busy bar up is a quaint restaurant with impeccable service. The waiter was very attentive and lovely! We ordered a starter which was gorgeous and we had the surf and surf steak for main, which was cooked to absolute perfection (medium rare) the sauce that came with it was delicious! Most definitely a place to come back to!

We had a wonderful dinner for the retirement of a colleague – 30 people, and everything was really excellent. From the communication in preparation of the event, to the service on the evening, the food, the atmosphere…

Absolutely amazing food, we were on a hunt for some fish and chips and beer as my parents decided they wanted some but because of big crowds in pubs we ended up in this amazing place, the food was stellar, from bread served on arrival to filet steak and fish chips everything was high quality and tasted amazing…
Trylock “Trylock”
We went for a team lunch, 20+ ppl, the food was lovely and the service was good, we were downstairs away from the main bar in a private area and they had staff regularly checking to see if we needed more drinks etc. I’d go as far as to call this a hidden gem in blackfriars.

A secluded alternative to many other pubs and bars nearby. Great little outdoors. But Madrid beer is not exactly Spanish. Try Cruzcampo or else.

We ate here tonight while the restaurant had a large party to serve alongside us.
We were welcomed from the start by Mandy, service, food and wine could not have been better. Beautifully presented dishes and perfect flavours…

A really nice place and excellent food. Friendly service, very efficient.
Quiet as a Friday and not so many in town but would recommend highly.
